This is a hands-on role working across our production areas, including Novelty, Moulding and Nut, ensuring the accurate control of raw materials and packaging stocks that keep our operations running efficiently.\nThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on the factory floor, has a keen eye for detail and is confident analysing information, investigating discrepancies and communicating findings with colleagues across the business.\nPosition type: Permanent Full-Time\nShift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00\nPay range: £25,773\nBreaks: 30 minutes unpaid\nClosing date: Friday 30th October 2026\nResponsibilities\nManaging stock accuracy across designated production areas including Novelty, Moulding and Nut\nCompleting stock checks, cycle counts and recounts\nInvestigating stock discrepancies and supporting root cause analysis\nMonitoring and reporting stock movements, usage and inventory performance\nEnsuring stock is correctly labelled, wrapped and recorded\nEnsuring raw materials and packaging stocks are accurately recorded\nProducing reports and maintaining accurate inventory records\nSupporting GMP, food safety and audit requirements\nAttending operational meetings and communicating stock-related updates\nWorking closely with Production, Supply Chain and Warehouse teams to resolve issues\nSupporting continuous improvement activities focused on stock accuracy and control\nQualifications\nExperience in a stock control, inventory, warehouse, materials control or production support role\nExperience carrying out stock checks, cycle counts or inventory investigations\nStrong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work\nGood numerical and analytical skills\nExperience using stock management, ERP or reporting systems\nConfidence working with data and producing reports\nThe ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across different departments\nExperience within food manufacturing, FMCG or a similar production environment would be advantageous\nAn understanding of food safety, GMP and audit standards\nRewards Benefits\n25 days annual holiday entitlement + bank holidays\n4% employer and 5 % employee pension plan\nLife assurance plan x4 basic salary\nVarious salary sacrifice schemes including pension payments, cycle to work and electric car (subject to meeting minimum criteria)\nHealthcare cash plan via paycare (Dental, Optical, Chiropody, Professional Therapy, Counselling) with a value over £400 each year\nAbout Us\nThe Fakenham site is a 11,000m² facility producing over 8,500 tonnes of confectionery annually, including NOMO - the UK’s #1 free-from chocolate brand.
