Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.\nTasks and Qualifications:\nSkilled software developer to create software application functionality and configuration using commercial development tools and applications based on customer and / or project performance, design, and testing requirements.\n What You Will do in This Role:\nCreate elegant solutions for some of the most complex material handling and logistics projects in the world.\nDeliver large, impactful, and meaningful enterprise projects while working in a small, nimble, and flexible start-up environment.\nCollaborate with highly cross-functional, Agile teams to build out new customer features and functionality.\nDevelop high-quality code and unit tests.\nPlay a critical role in system design, architecture, and execution.\nWorks independently and within a team with little required coaching.\nCoaches and mentors lesser experienced developers.\nSupports and improve internal processes to make code deployment easier, faster and more consistent.\nAbility to break down tasks into work packets.\nCollaborate to troubleshoot and solve complex problems across integrated software and mechatronic systems.\nContinually improving skill level through certifications and training.\nTravel across North America to customer sites to validate system functionality and testing (approximately 20%). \nWhat We are Looking For:\nBS - Computer Science (or other Engineering Degree)\n5+ Years software development experience.\n1+ Years automation or material handling industry experience.\nAdvanced knowledge in minimum of 2 object-oriented languages, including Java EE\nProficient in at least 1 other language.\nIntermediate knowledge of at least 2 operating systems.\n2 industry standard certifications.\nLocation & Authorization: This is a hybrid role requiring proximity to one of our U.S. offices (Grand Rapids, MI; Atlanta, GA, Milwaukee WI, Plano TX).
