This role is responsible for leading field installation activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating subcontractors and contract labor teams. The position plays a critical role in delivering successful project outcomes by maintaining Dematic installation standards, supporting commissioning activities, and providing clear communication between field execution and project leadership. This role is highly travel-intensive (up to 100%) and offers opportunities to contribute across multiple projects and disciplines.We offer:\nKey Responsibilities\nSafety & Compliance\nLead jobsite safety programs including BBSO, JSA, JHA, and daily safety meetings \nConduct safety audits and ensure compliance with OSHA and Dematic standards \nMaintain jobsite housekeeping and enforce a safe working environment \nMechanical Installation Leadership & Execution\nSupervise and coordinate contract labor teams (6+ installers) and subcontractors \nProvide training, direction, and support to less experienced team members \nOversee installation of material handling systems to ensure compliance with Dematic standards \nAssist with equipment trial runs to confirm proper installation and performance \nSupport cross-functional work across disciplines when required \nQuality Assurance\nEnsure installation quality across internal teams, manufacturing deliverables, and subcontractors \nComplete quality checklists and ensure compliance with standards \nManage and close punch list items \nProject Coordination & Communication\nProvide site status updates on schedule, manpower, and performance to Project Manager and/or Site Manager \nAttend and lead daily standups as required \nParticipate in weekly project meetings and post-mortem reviews \nEscalate issues to Project Manager, Engineering, Site Manager, or Installation Manager as needed \nMaterials & Logistics\nManage site material inventory and ensure materials are available and properly tracked \nOrder required installation materials including air systems \nReporting & Problem Solving\nWrite clear, concise trip reports per Dematic procedures \nIdentify problems as they arise and recommend practical solutions \nSupport issue resolution for non-complex technical challenges \nResponsibile for planning, booking, and reconciling expenses using the CONCUR Expense Reporting tool and a Dematic travel credit card. \nSkills & Capabilities\nStrong leadership and team coordination skills \nKnowledge of mechanical and electromechanical systems \nStrong safety mindset and understanding of jobsite safety protocols \nEffective communication (written and verbal) across multiple stakeholders \nProblem-solving ability with proactive issue identification \nBasic to intermediate computer skills including reporting tools and databases \nAbility to work independently in fast-paced, high-travel environments \nExperience Desired\nExperience supervising installation teams and subcontractors on construction or industrial sites \nProven experience installing or troubleshooting electromechanical equipment \nExperience working with material handling systems such as conveyors, AGVs, or AS/RS (preferred) \nBackground in quality assurance processes and installation standards \nExperience coordinating field execution with project management teams \nEducation & Certifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required \nAssociate’s Degree preferred (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree) \nOSHA 10 certification required;
