material handling and equipment servicing in accordance with the quality standards and time schedules as set out in the equipment manuals\nTo undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and industry standard practices\nDiagnosis of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC faults and subsequent repairs\nTo comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times\nTo ensure the quality of output at all times\nTo accurately record all work undertaken\nInvolvement in continuous improvement and sales opportunities\nTo ensure on-site spares are kept to optimum levels\nTo represent the company in a professional manner at all times and maintain customer relations\nTo adhere to the Quality processes and procedures as set out by the company\nQualifications & Experience:\nONC or equivalent in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering\nPreferably a recognised engineering apprenticeship\nA working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic technical manuals & drawings\nWillingness to work shifts including days, nights and weekends\nBasic understanding of control systems and techniques\nBasic understanding of PLC equipment\nExperience working at height\nPrevious experience in working with various conveyor systems\nIT literacy\nUnderstanding of pre-preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules\nWorking knowledge of
