The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $34,000 to $64,000salary at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will Do in This Role
- Coordinate the layout and pre-assembly of conveyor systems, ensuring flawless component integration.
- Install header steel, platforms, structural steel, and various mechanical components with precision.
- Assemble and align conveyors, guard rails, racks, and air piping (aluminum, copper, black iron).
- Interpret and work from detailed mechanical drawings, layout diagrams, and assembly instructions to successfully implement project plans.
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols, and company quality standards to maintain a safe work environment.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized and in a safe condition.
- Be ready for a role that involves 100% travel, with extensive trips across the U.S.
- Physically handle jobsite demands, including lifting at least 50 lbs, pushing, pulling, squatting, crawling, and walking across large construction sites in various climates and conditions
What we are looking for:
- Preferred ability to read and comprehend engineered drawings.
- Are good communicators and are willing to take direction to ensure projects meet stringent standards.
- Hold at least a high school diploma or equivalent experience, with technical degrees or specialized training preferred.
- Basic Mechanical and Technical Aptitude
- Can acquire OSHA 10 certification upon hire.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience and knowledge in installing and/or maintaining conveyor equipment is preferred.
- Some computer experience preferred.
- A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and hand tools are required.
