The Dematic Project Manager is the primary point of contact for the customer during project execution. This role works directly with customers to ensure deliverables fall within the scope, budget and schedule and meet customer expectations. The Project Manager is responsible for coordination and communication with project teams to complete multiple projects on time, within scope and budget. Project teams include customers, electrical/controls/mechanical/software engineers, manufacturing, vendors, electrical and mechanical installation crews, sub-contractors and integrator partners. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.\nTasks and Qualifications:\nWhat You Will Do In This Role:\nThis role will typically lead 3 to 5 projects at a time of differing scopes of average complexity at various end customer locations \nDevelop and maintain customer valued relationships \nManage the transition from Sales to Operations and lead the Project Kickoff Meetings \nReview project contract requirements \nDevelop and maintain a project schedule that is communicated internally and externally to ensure tasks are achieved on time according to plan \nMeet with Engineering managers to assign resources \nWork with Procurement to issue and manage vendors and subcontracts \nWork with customer, project teams and integrator partner to establish project milestones, billable deliverables and invoicing schedule \nMaintain consistent communications with the customer on project status \nConduct regular project design review and status update meetings \nIdentify and manage project risks with actionable mitigation strategies \nForecast monthly costs for revenue recognition, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, analyze project profitability and report out status on a regular basis \nProvide direction to the project team including assignment of individual responsibilities, tasks and technical functions \nProvide direction to sub-contractors as necessary to coordinate their work along with Dematic team members \nCoordinate the shipment and verification of materials to the project sites \nSecure permits as needed \nTravel to project sites to meet with the customer and project team, get status updates, coordinate activities and provide direction \nGenerate implementation, testing, acceptance and go-live plans \nEffectively communicate issues, develop resolution and negotiate Change Orders when necessary \nManage as built documentation completion and delivery to customer \nEnsure complete project financial closeout and turnover to support organization \nAttend weekly staff meetings and one on one meetings as well as other regularly scheduled department meetings \nComplete annual training and certification requirements \nWhat We Are Looking For :\nDegree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience. \nBasic understanding of Mechanical systems of material handling equipment (total facility flow through the sub-systems and operations), basic understanding of Controls \n5 to 7 years of professional experience and 3+ years of successful experience in project management \nAble to multi-task and work in a high-growth, fast-paced and deadline driven environment successfully. \nWillingness to travel for business within the continental US and Canada from 35% to 50% \nWillingness to travel over weekends \nExcellent interpersonal, organizational and verbal and written communication skills. \nHigh degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite;
