In this role, you will support and further develop SAP Manufacturing Execution and Digital Manufacturing solutions used across KION Group.\nYou will work closely with global and local stakeholders to support production environments, customize applications, integrate shop-floor systems, and contribute to the rollout of manufacturing solutions across different locations.\nWhat You Will Do in This Role\nSupport, maintain, and further develop SAP MES / SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) applications within the Manufacturing Execution environment.\n\nConfigure and customize SAP manufacturing applications according to business and production requirements.\n\nSupport decentralized shop-floor systems and their integration with SAP solutions.\n\nDesign and implement interfaces and customer-specific solutions within the Manufacturing Execution landscape.\n\nAnalyze business and production requirements and translate them into technical and functional solutions.\n\nCreate concepts and support the realization, implementation, testing, and deployment of new solutions and enhancements.\n\nCreate and maintain system and process documentation, including documentation of developments and adaptations.\n\nSupport international rollouts of SAP MES/DM solutions across KION locations.\n\nParticipate in international projects and take ownership of assigned project activities.\n\nProvide application support and contribute to the stability and continuous improvement of manufacturing systems.\n\nConduct knowledge-transfer sessions and internal training when required.\n\nCollaborate with international IT teams, manufacturing stakeholders, and production users.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n2-3 years of relevant professional experience in SAP Manufacturing Execution, SAP Digital Manufacturing, MES, or a related manufacturing technology environment.\n\nHands-on experience with SAP MES and/or SAP Digital Manufacturing (SAP DM).\n\nUnderstanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and shop-floor or production environments.\n\nExperience with SAP application configuration and customization.\n\nExperience working with system integrations and interfaces in manufacturing environments.\n\nUnderstanding of manufacturing and production processes and how IT systems support shop-floor operations.\n\nAbility to analyze requirements and translate them into practical system solutions.\n\nExperience supporting, implementing, or enhancing enterprise applications.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to work effectively with international and cross-functional teams.\n\nAdvanced English communication skills, both written and spoken.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience with international SAP MES/DM implementations or rollouts.\n\nExperience with system and process documentation using tools such as Confluence or Visio.\n\nExperience delivering internal training or knowledge-transfer sessions.\n\nExposure to customer-specific solution design.\n\nPrevious experience participating in international IT or manufacturing projects.\n\nExperience supporting production-critical manufacturing applications.\n\nAbout KION Group / Dematic\nKION Group is one of the world's leading providers of industrial trucks and supply chain solutions.
