Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.\nTasks and Qualifications:\nWhat You Will Do In This Role: \n\nTravel: Approximately 25%\nLead and coordinate Dematic North America’s racking and structural engineering initiatives\nSupport all phases of projects including concept development, structural design, engineering, installation, and commissioning\nDevelop and review structural designs at both system and component levels, ensuring safe operation, code compliance, and sustainability\nPerform and oversee structural analysis, steel design, and connection design\nCreate and review 3D models, drawings, and technical documentation\nManage structural engineering budgets and design schedules for assigned projects; communicate status to project teams and management\nSupport internal product development, including design validation and testing\nPartner with the Sales team to develop and review racking and structural design concepts\nLiaise closely with manufacturing, purchasing, quality, safety, site managers, subcontractors, and customers to ensure successful project execution\nSupport technical and concept reviews and ensure adherence to Dematic’s engineering processes and standards\nProvide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to other engineers\nIndustrial steel storage racks and ASRS structures\nStructural steel and cold-formed steel design\nConnections and rolled cold-formed sections\nAISC LRFD Specification for Structural Steel Buildings\nAISI Specification for Cold-Formed Steel Design\nRMI Specification for Industrial Steel Storage Racks\nFEM 9.831 / 9.832\nUS Seismic Design Standards\nLocal, State, and US Building Codes\nKnowledge of broader North American standards is a plus\nAutoCAD\nRISA 2D/3D or equivalent structural analysis software\nTekla Structures (or willingness to learn)\nMicrosoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nWhat We Are Looking For: \n\nB.S. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (Structural emphasis preferred);
