This role requires a teacher who is dedicated to ensuring that all students develop a strong mathematical foundation through engaging lessons that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for math instruction, a commitment to fostering student achievement, and a willingness to continuously grow and improve through feedback and collaboration.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned math lessons that foster a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and promote problem-solving and critical thinking.\nImplement a variety of instructional strategies to support diverse learners, including real-world applications of math concepts.\nRegularly assess student progress, analyze data, and adjust instructional practices to ensure academic growth and mastery of content.\nFoster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.\nMaintain high expectations for student achievement and behavior, while providing targeted support for students who need additional academic or behavioral assistance.\nBuild strong relationships with students and families, ensuring consistent communication to support student success.\nCollaborate with colleagues and academic coaches to align curriculum, share best practices, and continually improve teaching practices.\nBe open and receptive to feedback, working with academic coaches to reflect on instructional practices and identify growth opportunities.\nTake ownership of your professional development and seek opportunities for learning and growth.\nParticipate in school-wide events, professional development, and family engagement activities to strengthen the school community.\nCOMPETENCIES\nAbility to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.\nCultural competency and the ability to create inclusive learning environments.\nPassion for education and belief in the potential of all students.\n Valid Indiana teaching license or in the process of applying for reciprocity with a valid out-of-state license (required).\nBachelor’s degree in education or related field (required).\nMinimum of 2 years of teaching experience in middle school math (preferred).\nExperience using data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes (preferred).\nCommitment to eduation, high expectations, and the belief that all students can succeed (required).\nOpenness to feedback and commitment to continuous improvement (required).\nPass a criminal background check, as required by law (required).\n Licensed teacher starting at $50,000\nSalary is commensurate with experience and includes a highly competitive benefits package.
