The SOA supports the day-to-day operations procedures that allow\nthe school to run efficiently and effectively.\nROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAssists with the implementation of the day-to-day school based operations policies and procedures\nImplements the daily school wide procedures such as arrival, lunch, and dismissal\nCaptures all transportation changes from families\nSupports with school based strategies to ensure kids are in seats every day and year over year\nSupports families in completion of registration documents\nSupports school events and activities as assigned\nMakes daily attendance calls based on guidance from Attendance and PEIMS Specialist\nDocuments all attendance changes and corrects attendance data in student information system\nEnsures clear and effective communications with all community members and stakeholders\nEnsures all family facing materials are readily available\nSchedules family meetings with appropriate team members\nManages all phone calls coming into the school\nManages all visitors coming into the school and completes check in through Raptor\nPrepares and sends school specific family communication\nMaintains the front office and all family-facing systems\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nRequired Education and Experience:\nBilingual: English and Spanish required\nCOMPETENCY AND SKILLS:\nUnwavering commitment to the KIPP Texas mission, core values and willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of KIPP Texas students, families, and staff\nBilingual; English & Spanish required\nSense of humility, customer service mindset, and shows urgency and the ability to proactively solve problems and make decisions quickly\nStrong communication and time management skills; ability to effectively backwards plan, juggle multiple priorities with great attention to detail, and deliver consistent and timely results\nTeam player with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management and relationship building skills\nAbility to be calm under pressure, especially in difficult conversations with parents and staff\nDesire to continuously learn and evolve as a professional\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
