This is a highly cross-functional role spanning business operations, financial planning, spend management, vendor and corporate operations, compliance, and company reporting. You will work closely with Kira’s leadership team and partner across Finance, Legal, Engineering, Security, and other functions to ensure the company has the systems, processes, and information it needs to operate effectively.\nThe right person is equally comfortable digging into company spend, coordinating a SOC 2 audit, preparing investor reporting, managing a vendor relationship, or taking an ambiguous operational problem and figuring out how to solve it. Our office is in Tribeca and we ask that employees work in-person 4 days a week (Wednesdays WFH).\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild Kira's board decks, investor updates, and company KPI dashboards, bringing together financial, commercial, and operating metrics.\n\nManage due diligence requests and the data room, and support leadership through fundraising.\n\nRun Kira's SOC 2 program year-round, including audits, controls, evidence, documentation, and vendor reviews.\n\nHandle data privacy and security compliance for customer contracts, from district questionnaires to Kira's public privacy documentation, in partnership with Engineering and Legal.\n\nManage vendors and spend end to end, including Ramp, approvals, procurement, contracts, renewals, and accounts payable.\n\nPartner with our finance advisors on budgeting, spend planning, and performance analysis.\n\nTake company-level operational projects, including insurance and corporate filings, from problem definition through implementation.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n5-8+ years in business operations, strategy and operations, consulting, or investment banking, including Business Operations experience at a high-growth startup.\n\nExperience preparing board and investor materials and supporting a fundraise or due diligence process.\n\nHands-on experience with SOC 2 or a similar compliance program, or with customer security and privacy reviews.\n\nExperience managing spend, procurement, and vendor operations.\n\nStrong analytical and financial skills, with comfort building models, dashboards, and executive-ready decks.\n\nA track record of building processes from scratch and driving work across Engineering, Legal, Finance, and leadership.\n\nClear, concise communication and a high degree of ownership in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.\n\nPreferred\nExperience at a high-growth AI or tech company operating under strict data privacy, security, or regulatory requirements (health tech and fintech are a plus).\n\nExperience with Ramp or similar spend management tools.\n\nExperience working alongside a fractional or outsourced finance and accounting team.\n\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive compensation and equity.
