This role will serve as the primary and sole paralegal in this location, managing cases independently while collaborating closely with the assigned attorney and firmwide litigation team.\nThe ideal candidate brings strong litigation and personal injury experience, is highly organized, and thrives in a role that offers both autonomy and accountability.\nWhat You’ll Do\nCase Management & Litigation Support\nIndependently manage a personal injury caseload from intake through resolution\nObtain, review, organize, and summarize medical records\nConduct insurance coverage investigations\nPrepare and maintain damage summaries, including medical expenses, lost wages, and property damage\nAssist with discovery responses, subpoenas, and litigation deadlines\nCoordinate with courts, opposing counsel, clients, and third-party providers\nPrepare case files for litigation and trial support as needed\nDraft correspondence and other legal documents related to case management\nAssist the attorney with settlement documentation, disbursements, and closing files\nPrepare disbursement summaries and manage lien/subrogation resolution\nClient & Team Communication\nServe as a primary point of contact for clients and provide consistent updates regarding case status\nParticipate in weekly case reporting and monthly team meetings\nCollaborate with firmwide team members and provide coverage support when needed\nAdministrative & Case Support\nLog and manage incoming and outgoing mail\nPrepare check requests, maintain records, and coordinate payments\nMaintain accurate, organized electronic and physical case files\nMeet or exceed performance and productivity goals\nRequirements\nWhat We’re Looking For\n Minimum of five (5) years of personal injury paralegal experience required\nLitigation experience required; trial preparation experience strongly preferred\nParalegal certificate preferred\nBachelor’s degree a plus\nStrong understanding of litigation procedures, deadlines, and legal documentation\nHigh proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities independently\nThis Role Is Ideal For Someone Who:\nHas previously supported litigation attorneys in a personal injury practice\nIs comfortable being the sole paralegal in an office environment\nEnjoys ownership of cases and working with minimal supervision\nIs proactive, organized, and confident managing deadlines and client communication\nWork Environment\nThis position operates in a professional office environment with standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
