The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Python and Java, along with good knowledge of and comfort working with Golang. A strong FinTech, lending, payments, banking, or financial-services background is preferred.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers.\n\n- Own the architecture, development, scalability, and reliability of the User Platform.\n\n- Build and scale backend systems using Python and Java.\n\n- Work with and contribute to services and applications built in Golang.\n\n- Drive engineering best practices across design, coding, testing, deployment, and observability.\n\n- Collaborate closely with Product, Risk, Data, Security, and other technology teams.\n\n- Ensure high performance, availability, security, and scalability of user-facing platforms.\n\n- Participate in system design, architecture reviews, and technical decision-making.\n\n- Own engineering delivery, timelines, quality, and team development.\n\n- Build a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.\n\nMust-Have Skills & Experience : \n\n- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in an Engineering Manager / Technical Lead / people-management role.\n\n- Strong programming experience in Python and Java.\n\n- Good knowledge of Golang and comfort working with Go-based services/applications.\n\n- Strong understanding of backend systems, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.\n\n- Experience building scalable, highly available, and reliable platforms.\n\n- Exposure to databases, cloud platforms, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability.\n\n- Experience in FinTech, Lending, Payments, Banking, NBFC, or Financial Services is strongly preferred.\n\n- Experience in KYC, authentication, identity, lending, payments, or customer lifecycle platforms.\n\n- Strong people management, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n\nGood to Have : \n\n- Experience with high-volume financial or transactional systems.\n\n- Exposure to KYC, authentication, identity, lending, payments, or customer lifecycle platforms.\n\n- Experience working in a high-growth startup or FinTech environment.\n\n- Exposure to AWS/GCP/Azure and containerized environments.\n\nAbout Kissht : \n\nKissht is one of India's leading listed fintech companies, offering fast, personalized digital credit through its mobile app to customers across the country.
