Your work will include preparing proposals, administering contracts, processing modifications, and completing post-award reporting requirements.\nYou’ll collaborate with project managers, technical professionals, finance and business development colleagues, auditors, subcontractors, collaborators, customers, and vendors. Kitware works with organizations ranging from startups and Fortune 500 companies to government agencies and academic laboratories worldwide.\nThis position offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide variety of contracting activities while helping Kitware submit high-quality proposals, meet its contractual obligations, and build lasting relationships with customers and collaborators.\nWhat You'll Do\nAssist with preparing proposals in response to solicitations.\n\nCoordinate with subcontractors to obtain proposal information, including pricing.\n\nPrepare and distribute instructions to internal colleagues regarding contract requirements.\n\nHelp monitor projects to ensure contract actions are processed promptly.\n\nAdminister contract modifications.\n\nComplete required post-award administrative reports.\n\nMaintain close contact with customers and collaborators and help foster long-term business relationships.\n\nServe as a point of contact for external organizations and internal colleagues regarding proposal- and contract-related activities.\n\nMaintain contract documents and enter information into Kitware’s contract management system.\n\nComplete other assignments as required by management.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nA bachelor’s degree.\n\nStrong communication, text-analysis, and research skills.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with the ability to learn Kitware’s internal systems.\n\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities.\n\nThe ability to work independently and collaboratively.\n\nAbility and willingness to work in the office a minimum of three days per week.\n\nDue to contractual requirements, only US citizens will be considered for this position.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nA bachelor’s degree in humanities, business, or a related field.\n\nExperience with Google Docs.\n\nFamiliarity with contracting principles and legal terms and conditions.\n\nOne year of demonstrated experience working in a professional
