Backend Engineer

We are looking for a strong Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Node.js and TypeScript to build and scale high-performance systems for a product-based environment. The role involves working on core backend architecture, APIs, and scalable services.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of applications.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Participate in system design and architecture discussions.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of backend development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Node.js .
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of APIs, backend architecture, and system design basics.
• Experience working in product-based companies (mandatory).
• Good problem-solving skills and understanding of data structures.

Good to Have:

• Experience with NestJS.
• Exposure to microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

Candidate Profile:

• Open to relocation to Mumbai if currently based elsewhere.
• Preference for candidates who have worked across multiple cities/locations, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Comfortable with 5-day work-from-office setup.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in fast-paced product environments.
