We proudly operate 23+ restaurants and 4+ central kitchens/commissary facilities across multiple states - and we’re growing.\nJob Summary\nAs the Accounting Manager, you will oversee, plan, and execute all accounting initiatives to make sure our company is compliant with all federal, state, and local financial laws. You will also work closely with upper management and other departments to help meet our fiscal and company growth goals.\nWe look forward to speaking with you about this opportunity, and what you can bring to the team!\nJob Duties\nDirects and manages all accounting activities up to and including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, financial statements, and management reporting\nPrepares, manages, and keeps current a formal monthly closing process\nContributes to attainment of budget objectives by scheduling expenditures, analyzing budget variances, and recommending corrective plans and actions\nOptimizes staff work performance by planning, monitoring and appraising work performance through coaching, counseling, and mentoring of team members\nProtects assets by establishing, monitoring, auditing, and enforcing internal controls\nWorks with upper management to recognized, monitor, and come up with dynamic solutions to resolve financial problems as they arise\nGuides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, auditing, and enforcing policies and procedures\nCoordinates external audit information flow with external auditors\nOther duties as assigned\n Skills and Qualifications\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience: managing accounting processes and software, developing policies and procedures, managing audits, analyzing business results, developing budgets, and performing budget vs. actual analysis (quantitative, qualitative)\nSupervisory / management experience preferred\nOutstanding financial, analytical, and statistical technical skills\nExperience with the restaurant industry preferred\nExcellent communication skills and ability to communicate with internal and external customers\nExperience with QuickBooks preferred\nEducation Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.\nBenefits & Other Compensation:\nEligible employees may receive a comprehensive benefits package, with the company covering 90% of the medical premium.\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\nEmployee meals and discounts\nOpportunities for career growth and professional development\nEligibility and benefit offerings may vary based on position and tenure\nWe are an equal opportunity employer to all team members and applicants.
