We proudly operate 20+ restaurants and 4+ central kitchens/commissary facilities across multiple states - and we’re growing.\nAbout the Role:\nWe are seeking an experienced Restaurant Controller to oversee all financial operations across our restaurant business. This role is responsible for accounting accuracy, financial reporting, cost control, and operational financial analysis for one or multiple restaurant locations. The ideal candidate has strong restaurant industry experience and can manage fast-paced, high-volume financial environments..\nKey Responsibilities\nOversee all accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger\nPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements\nEnsure compliance with GAAP and applicable financial regulations\nManage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes\nMaintain internal controls and improve accounting procedures\nCoordinate audits and work with external auditors and tax professionals\nAnalyze financial performance and provide insights to leadership\nSupport cash flow management and financial decision-making\nAnalyze financial trends and provide recommendations to ownership/leadership\nEnsure compliance with accounting standards and company policies\nPerform in-depth financial analysis of expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities\nSupervise and mentor accounting staff (if applicable)\nSkills:\nThe required skills for this role include strong analytical abilities, which are essential for interpreting financial data and making informed decisions. Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders and collaborate with various departments. Leadership skills are crucial for managing and developing the finance team, ensuring they are equipped to meet the organization's financial goals.
