This individual will work side by side with the kitchen team, ensuring every dish meets our established recipes, specifications, and quality standards.\nThe ideal candidate leads by example, takes pride in their craft, develops their team through hands-on training, and maintains exceptional consistency throughout daily operations.\nJob Duties\nCulinary Execution and Standards\nWork alongside kitchen team members during daily preparation, cooking, and service.\nEnsure strict adherence to company recipes, specifications, portion sizes, and presentation standards.\nMaintain exceptional food quality, consistency, and authenticity across all menu items.\nDemonstrate proper culinary techniques and immediately correct deviations from standards.\nLeadership and Team Development\nLead by example through active participation in kitchen operations.\nTrain, coach, and develop team members through hands-on instruction.\nFoster a positive kitchen culture built on teamwork, accountability, and craftsmanship.\nPartner with restaurant leadership to ensure smooth service and operational excellence.\nKitchen Operations\nOversee daily preparation, production, and kitchen readiness.\nMaintain proper inventory levels, product rotation, and ingredient freshness.\nControl food waste, portioning, and product utilization.\nSupport efficient kitchen workflows, productivity, and labor management.\nEnsure kitchen equipment and workstations are properly maintained.\nFood Safety and Compliance\nMaintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety.\nEnsure compliance with health department regulations and company procedures.\nMonitor proper food handling, storage, labeling, and temperature controls.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready kitchen.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nExperience and Education Requirements\nMinimum 5 years of professional culinary experience preferred.\nPrevious Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager experience preferred.\nExperience with Chinese cuisine, dumplings, or Asian culinary operations strongly preferred.\nStrong culinary skills and understanding of standardized recipes.\nDemonstrated ability to train and lead kitchen teams.\nStrong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.\nPassion for hands-on leadership and culinary excellence.\nJob Specific Requirements\nFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.\nAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nTexas Certified Food Manager certification or ability to obtain certification.\nCommitment to food safety, consistency, and company standards.\nBenefits\n$80,000 Annual Salary\n 90% Company Paid Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance\nPaid Time Off\nProfessional Growth and Career Advancement Opportunities\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nKizuki International LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
