As we continue to expand our global presence and ambition, we are looking for a Director - Corporate Development to play a central role in shaping our long-term strategy and growth journey.\nThis is a unique opportunity to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a purpose-driven organisation that is helping power the energy transition.\nHighlights of the offer\nJob offer expiration:31/05/2026\n\nType of work:Hybrid\n\nRole:Individual Contributor / Specialist\n\nLocation:Europe\n\nResponsibilities\nWhat you will be responsible for:\nLead the development and execution of the corporate strategic planning process, involving short-term and long-term objectives, market analysis, and competitive positioning.\nCollaborate with department heads and senior leadership to align functional strategies with overall corporate goals.\nConduct thorough market research, industry analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify emerging trends and opportunities.\nManage M&A / Post-Merger integration (PMI) end-to-end\nDevelop financial models and perform scenario analysis to assess the potential impact of strategic decisions and M&A targets.\nPresent strategic recommendations to the executive team in a clear and persuasive manner.\nMonitor key performance indicators and industry developments to assess the effectiveness of implemented strategies.. \nPartner with broader strategy and corporate development team in various phases of M&A planning including target evaluation and prioritization, transaction due diligence and acquisition business case development. \nOur requirements\nWhat we are looking for:\nCore qualifications\nA Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; MBA, CFA, or similar is an advantage\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, management consulting, or related roles\nProven experience leading complex M&A transactions, including post-merger integration and SteerCo engagement\nStrong business and financial acumen, with advanced analytical and modelling skills\nExperience working in fast-moving, dynamic environments with multiple stakeholders\nPersonal skills & mindset\nA structured and strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach\nStrong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across functions and seniority levels\nExcellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of translating complex topics into clear messages\nA genuine interest in sustainability and the energy transition\nExperience within wind, energy, or infrastructure markets is an advantage - but not a requirement.
