The infrastructure group at KKR has grown rapidly amid investor interest in the space, scaling 7x+ in the last six years, from $17 billion AUM in 2020 to $119 billion today. KKR is expanding the team to support expected future growth.\nThe team invests behind businesses across a range of sectors with long-term secular growth trends and strong competitive moats, generating downside risk protection from established real asset and network footprints. Recent investment activity has concentrated in areas like energy transition (renewables development, operating power, climate growth), digital infrastructure (fiber-to-the-home, hyperscale data centers), transportation and logistics (aviation/airport services, aircraft leasing), and industrial infrastructure (contract manufacturing in pharma, beverages).
