The team also functions as a support for clients, from onboarding to investor communications and overall relationship management across all asset classes, as well as responding to any ad-hoc financial or tax-related requests.\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nFund Controller - Senior Analyst role focused on all aspects of fund accounting, finance, and financial reporting for KKR’s private markets funds strategies (e.g., private equity, growth, impact, real estate, infrastructure, climate, and related SMA and co-investment programs). \nROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: \nResponsible for preparing/reviewing all aspects of the funds’ day-to day financial operations, including investor activity, investment activity, cash management, NAV closing, internal and external reporting, and regulatory requirements.\nResponsible for preparing/reviewing capital calls and distributions, including carried interest calculations, across the portfolio of private markets funds.\nManage the usage of revolving credit facilities for certain funds, including corresponding with lenders, compliance, and quarterly reporting obligations.\nManage fund commitments, including quarterly reporting on remaining commitments.\nOversee quarterly management fee calculations and transaction fee allocations.\nResponsible for preparing/reviewing transactions in the funds’ core accounting platform (Investran), including cash, new investments, follow-on investments, sales, restructurings, investment income, lines of credit, capital calls, distributions, fees and expenses, mark-to-market adjustments, carried interest, other accruals, and investor allocations, etc.\nReview monthly account analyses and reconciliations.\nCreate/maintain carried interest models and work with IT to develop. \nResponsible for the preparation/review of the funds’ quarterly and annual work papers, financial statements, investor allocations, investor capital account statements, and other reports for multiple fund entities\nResponsible for the funds’ annual external audits.\nInteract with KKR’s internal tax team, as well as external tax services providers.\nSupport KKR & Co. Inc. public reporting process, including providing reports, schedules, and other support in connection with the Firm’s quarterly reporting and annual audit.\nAssist KKR’s Client Services team with investor requests\nAssist in driving accounting, reporting and business process simplification and efficiency initiatives. Assist with operational improvements to workflows.\nPrepare ad hoc reports, as needed.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n3+ years of experience.\nAccounting degree(s) preferred.\nACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent required. \nPrior private equity fund controllership, fund administration, or audit experience\nStrong finance business acumen - quickly be able to understand KKR’s business and its complexities.\nStrong interpersonal skills- ability to quickly build relationships and work well across teams.\nTeam player, ability to network/collaborate across groups (e.g., Finance, Operations/Treasury, IT, Business, Tax, and Legal).\nClear intellectual curiosity with the drive and potential to succeed in a fast-paced work environment, having shown comfort with the ambiguity of an evolving, dynamic firm.\nSelf-starter who is detail oriented, highly organized and pro-active in executing responsibilities.\nDemonstrated ability to multitask, manage and complete multiple priorities on time with minimal direction.\nHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word).\nExperience with Investran accounting platform a plus.\nInnovative mindset and highest levels of integrity.
