As the business continues to grow, Portfolio Management has become an increasingly important function, providing rigorous portfolio oversight, valuation governance, fund analytics and strategic decision support across the European platform.

Working as an integrated member of the European Asset Management team, this individual will partner closely with investment professionals in London and take ownership of many of the portfolio management processes across KKR's European real estate funds.

This is a highly visible role offering broad exposure across investments, asset management, fund management and investor reporting, with significant interaction with senior investment professionals across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Management

  • Act as the primary Portfolio Management contact supporting the European Asset Management team.
  • Monitor operating and financial performance across KKR's European real estate investments.
  • Analyse portfolio performance, identify emerging trends and highlight key risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinate weekly Portfolio Management meetings with the London Asset Management team.
  • Produce portfolio analytics and recommendations to support investment and asset management decisions.

Valuation Management

  • Prepare valuation memoranda and supporting investment analyses for internal Valuation and Portfolio Management Committees.
  • Coordinate external valuers, internal valuation specialists and finance teams to deliver timely and robust valuations.
  • Review valuation assumptions, sensitivities and market evidence alongside the Asset Management teams.
  • Maintain valuation models and supporting documentation.

Fund & Portfolio Analytics

  • Own and continually enhance portfolio-level financial models across REPE II, REPE III and KPPE.
  • Perform scenario analysis, liquidity forecasting and return sensitivities.
  • Analyse distributions, fund performance and portfolio composition.
  • Produce portfolio benchmarking and performance analytics for senior management.

Portfolio Reporting

  • Coordinate quarterly Portfolio Management Committee ("PMC") materials.
  • Prepare portfolio dashboards and KPI reporting.
  • Draft quarterly investor reporting for fund investors and co-investors.
  • Coordinate reporting across Investor Relations, Finance, Asset Management and Fund Accounting teams.
  • Respond to ad hoc data requests from internal stakeholders and investors.

Process Improvement & Data Strategy

  • Drive automation and continuous improvement across portfolio reporting processes.
  • Lead initiatives to improve data quality and reporting consistency across the European platform.
  • Support implementation of new reporting tools and portfolio management systems.
  • Help develop scalable portfolio management capabilities as the platform continues to expand.

Investment Support

  • Support asset management teams on strategic initiatives including refinancings, business plans, capital expenditure programmes and exit planning.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support investment decisions.
  • Work closely with investment professionals to evaluate portfolio performance and capital allocation opportunities.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will combine strong technical capabilities with excellent commercial judgement and a collaborative working style.

We are looking for someone with:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in real estate private equity, asset management, investment banking, valuation advisory, transaction services or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate investing and portfolio management.
  • Excellent financial modelling and valuation skills.
  • Experience coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams.
  • Ability to interpret financial and operational information and communicate key insights succinctly.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar analytical tools is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a desire to improve processes and build scalable solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics or a related discipline; ACA, CFA or MRICS qualifications are advantageous.
