This role will be based at our Midwest HQ in Ann Arbor, MI\nKey Responsibilities\n Build and deploy agent-based AI systems, including autonomous and semi-autonomous agents that can reason, plan, use tools, and collaborate effectively.\nSupport benchmarking efforts for model performance across different deployment environments.\nCollaborate in the design and implementation of scalable and reliable AI/ML systems that support evolving workloads.\nHelp ensure solutions align with enterprise standards for security, compliance, observability, and operational efficiency.\nRun focused experiments (e.g., A/B tests, workflow refinements) to improve agent performance.\nWork closely with cross-functional partners to deliver impactful business outcomes.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with enterprise AI/ML platforms or managed AI services.\nExposure to model evaluation, monitoring, or performance tuning in production settings.\nFamiliarity with MLOps practices and modern deployment workflows.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field. Master's and/or PhD preferred\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in AI/ML, with a proven track record of deploying solutions in a production environment.\nProficiency in Python, or similar languages, with experience in libraries like TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, etc. Experience with RAG is essential.\nStrong background in statistics, machine learning algorithms, deep learning, neural networks, and system architecture.\nStrong understanding of cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and data processing technologies.\nDemonstrated ability to lead technical projects and work effectively in matrix environments.\nAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members and business partners.\nFamiliarity with software engineering best practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, agile methodologies, and system design patterns.\nAbout KLA\nWe provide advanced inspection tools, metrology systems, process solutions, and computational analytics that make electronics possible, tackling complex challenges.
