It also offers comprehensive service and spare parts through a worldwide network of service centers and qualified local agents.What You'll Do\nIn this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.\nKey Duties\nProblem Solving & Trouble Shooting\nSupporting key customer escalations in the region\nData collection & analysis, reporting\nDetailed problem solving using 8D methodology\nProduct & Process development\nIdentifying options to suit the product based on customer needs\nDevelop solutions on site with customers for those needs using existing toolset\nWhere outside toolset capability, feeding back customer developments, engagement & needs to UK business unit\nDevelop new processes in line with KLA roadmaps\nPlan, work and implement solutions in a safe, logical and timely manner\nTool Qualification\nTogether with the field team obtaining field acceptance on customer’s sites\n\nThe ideal candidate should possess:\nHands on experience in Etch, PVD & CVD process development & applications, with some hardware knowledge in tools used in wafer fabs would be highly advantageous.\nA Creative and innovative approach to problem solving leading to novel but practical solutions.\nThe foresight and ability to collect, filter and analyse data to solve complex problems.\nGood analytical skills including the ability to be hands on in fabs, measuring films, coordinating activities from experiment to result & reporting\nGood oral and written communication skills\nThe ability to work both autonomously and as part of a small team.\nMinimum Qualifications\nMinimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or applied science with 5 years of wafer fab experience\nMaster’s or PhD with 3 years of wafer fab experience\nAbout KLA\nWe provide advanced inspection tools, metrology systems, process solutions, and computational analytics that make electronics possible, tackling complex challenges.
