Our services organization maximizes the value of our customers' KLA assets - with highly trained service and product support engineers providing installation services and 24/7 technical support and parts delivery through our extensive supply chain network.What You'll Do\nIn this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and manage a global organization of Installation Engineers, Installation Supervisors, and regional installation managers.\nOwn worldwide installation performance, including safety, quality, productivity, cycle time, customer satisfaction, and business commitments.\nDevelop installation strategies that support business growth, customer ramp requirements, and operational scalability.\nDrive successful execution of new tool installations, upgrades, and customer acceptance milestones.\nPartner closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Service, Program Management, Supply Chain, and Sales organizations to ensure readiness for customer deliveries and installations.\nEstablish and monitor installation KPIs, including schedule adherence, installation cycle time, CTD/FPA performance, resource utilization, and customer satisfaction metrics.\nLead escalation management and provide executive-level communication for critical customer situations.\nEnsure standardized installation processes, methodologies, and best practices are implemented consistently across all regions.\nSupport strategic customer engagements and provide leadership presence for high-profile installations and escalations.\nBuild organizational capability through workforce planning, training programs, mentoring, and succession planning.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, safety, and overall customer experience.\nManage departmental budgets, resource allocation, travel planning, and workforce capacity to support global business needs.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.\nCollaborate with senior leadership to define and execute long-term installation strategies aligned with company objectives.\nTravel globally as required to support customers, installations, employee development, and business initiatives.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in the semiconductor capital equipment industry.\nExperience managing installation, startup, qualification, or field service organizations.\nKnowledge of semiconductor fab operations and customer manufacturing environments.\nExperience supporting strategic customer ramps and large-scale deployment programs.\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence methodologies.\nExperience leading cross-functional global initiatives.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.\nMinimum 8+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment, field service, installation, manufacturing, or related technical operations.\nMinimum 3+ years of people management experience leading technical teams.\nProven experience managing global or multi-regional teams.\nStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nDemonstrated ability to manage complex customer escalations and critical business situations.\nStrong project management and operational planning capabilities.\nData-driven decision maker with experience utilizing operational metrics and KPIs.\nAbility to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.\nExcellent problem-solving and organizational skills.\nWillingness to travel internationally up to 25%.\nAbout KLA\nWe provide advanced inspection tools, metrology systems, process solutions, and computational analytics that make electronics possible, tackling complex challenges.
