GOPS partners with KLA's global supply base and design engineering teams to develop new products, working continuously to build better, faster and more cost-efficient solutions.What You'll Do\nIn this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.\nTDI Camera Manufacturing Design Engineer (MDE) - Key Responsibilities\nOwn the technical, quality, and manufacturing performance of assigned camera electronic assemblies and subassemblies.\nDrive resolution of production issues to minimize manufacturing disruptions and support shipment commitments.\nProvide technical support for field escalations, customer issues, and product sustaining activities.\nLead non-conformance investigation and disposition, working with suppliers and cross-functional teams to improve product quality.\nConduct failure analysis, root-cause investigation, and corrective/preventive actions for electrical and electronic failures.\nDrive supplier quality, manufacturing yield, and process improvements through data-driven problem solving.\nSupport component EOL/obsolescence replacement, supplier/site transfers, and other engineering initiatives.\nCreate, review, and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for product and manufacturing changes.\nMonitor and improve supplier manufacturing performance, product quality, and test yield.\nSupport ICT and functional test development, debug, troubleshooting, validation, and supplier technical training.\nParticipate in design reviews and ensure designs meet Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) requirements.\nSupport New Product Introduction (NPI), including manufacturing documentation, test readiness, supplier readiness, and production qualification.\nCollaborate closely with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Materials, and suppliers to ensure successful product transfer and production ramp-up.\nMaintain robust technical documentation and drive continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.\nRequirements\n.\nBS/MS in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience preferred\nStrong knowledge of FPGA, ADC/DAC, high-speed digital, analog electronics, and signal integrity.\nExperience with Camera electronics, imaging systems, image sensors, or camera-related data acquisition systems is an advantage.\nStrong troubleshooting, failure analysis, and diagnostic skills at both test-bench and system levels.\nGood understanding of PCBA manufacturing, testing, assembly, and quality processes.\nAbility to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional engineering/manufacturing teams to resolve technical and production issues.\nWillingness to travel up to 25% to support NPI, supplier training, manufacturing/site transfers, and technology transfers.\nMinimum Qualifications\nDoctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 yearsAbout KLA\nWe provide advanced inspection tools, metrology systems, process solutions, and computational analytics that make electronics possible, tackling complex challenges.
