GOPS partners with KLA's global supply base and design engineering teams to develop new products, working continuously to build better, faster and more cost-efficient solutions.What You'll Do\nIn this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.\nThe Shipping & Receiving position is responsible for the accurate and timely receipt, processing, preparation, and shipment of materials. This role verifies part numbers, quantities, purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation to ensure inventory and transaction accuracy.\nResponsibilities include processing incoming and outgoing materials using SAP, preparing shipments through designated carriers, labeling and packaging materials, staging shipments, and maintaining accurate records. The position also identifies and communicates discrepancies, shortages, damaged materials, or documentation issues and works with Stockroom, Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing, and other departments to resolve problems.\nThe role is expected to maintain a safe and organized work area, follow established shipping and receiving procedures, properly handle materials, and support inventory accuracy and overall warehouse operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nReceive and verify incoming material against purchase orders and packing documentation.\nProcess receiving and shipping transactions accurately in SAP.\nPrepare, package, label, and stage domestic and international shipments as required.\nVerify part numbers, quantities, addresses, and documentation before completing transactions.\nIdentify and report shortages, overages, damaged material, and other discrepancies.\nMaintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.\nUse RF/barcode scanners and material-handling equipment as required.\nCoordinate with internal departments to support material requirements and priority shipments.\nMaintain an organized, clean, and safe shipping and receiving area.\nFollow established safety, quality, inventory-control, and material-handling procedures.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\n1-3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, stockroom, or material-handling operations preferred.\nExperience receiving, verifying, packing, staging, and shipping materials.\nAbility to verify part numbers, quantities, purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation for accuracy.\nWorking knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP/WMS system for receiving, inventory, and shipping transactions.\nExperience with FedEx, UPS, or other carrier shipping systems is preferred.\nAbility to use RF scanners, barcode scanners, label printers, and other warehouse equipment.\nAbility to identify discrepancies, damaged materials, shortages, and incorrect shipments and escalate them appropriately.\nFamiliarity with inventory control, material traceability, and proper storage/location practices.\nAbility to safely operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment; forklift certification preferred when required for the position.\nBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate transaction and shipment records.\nAbility to prioritize urgent shipments while maintaining accuracy and following established procedures.\nGood written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with Stockroom, Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing, and other departments.\nAbility to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.\nMust follow company safety requirements, material-handling procedures, and established shipping/receiving processes.\nAbout KLA\nWe provide advanced inspection tools, metrology systems, process solutions, and computational analytics that make electronics possible, tackling complex challenges.
