Our team designs and develops advanced electromechanical assemblies that power high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure for KLA products, enabling innovative AI-driven image data processing. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of next-generation rack and power distribution solutions aligned with KLA’s compute and rack roadmaps. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong systems-level thinking, and leadership potential, thriving in a fast-paced environment where managing complex projects under aggressive timelines is key.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProject Management & Execution\nLead and deliver engineering projects for rack and PDU systems, including high-power rack solutions.\nDrive schedules and deliverables, ensuring alignment with program milestones and strategic objectives.\nDesign & Systems-Level Thinking\nApply comprehensive design principles to integrate mechanical, electrical, thermal, and regulatory requirements.\nPartner with multi-functional teams to develop robust, scalable solutions for HPC infrastructure.\nStakeholder Communication & Relationship Management\nAct as the primary liaison with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.\nClearly communicate project status, risks, trade-offs, and mitigation strategies to leadership and stakeholders.\nProduction & Sustaining Support\nOversee the transition from design to production, ensuring quality and on-time product shipment.\nSolve manufacturing and assembly issues, and resolve field escalations or complex customer requests as needed.\nTechnical Mentorship\nMentor junior engineers and actively contribute to team growth and capability building.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nTechnical Expertise\nSolid foundation in mechanical design and analysis, including solid mechanics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, mechanics of materials, and finite element analysis (FEA).\nProficiency in CAD tools (Creo preferred) and FEA software (Ansys preferred).\nHands-on experience in electromechanical assembly design, ideally at the rack-system level.\nFamiliarity with cooling technologies for server racks highly desirable.\nProject Management Skills\nDemonstrated ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks effectively.\nProven track record of driving schedules and deliverables under compressed timelines.\nStrong stakeholder communication and relationship-building capabilities.\nKnowledge of production processes and experience with install base issue resolution.\nMinimum Qualifications\nDoctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 yearsAbout KLA\nWe provide advanced inspection tools, metrology systems, process solutions, and computational analytics that make electronics possible, tackling complex challenges.
