To make these, you must see, test and manufacture them at scale-faster and better than ever before. That's where KLA comes in. Whether you're early in your career or an experienced professional, you'll solve complex challenges, work alongside brilliant minds and help shape the future of technology.\nGroup/Division\nThe Semiconductor Products and Customers (Semi PC) business unit designs, builds and sells KLA’s product portfolio to help chip manufacturers meet high-quality standards for technologies like AI, data centers, automotive and electronic devices. Our inspection, metrology, and analytics systems detect and monitor defects across logic and memory chips, specialty semiconductors, wafers, reticles, advanced packaging, process equipment and materials. We also develop technologies for specialty processes, IC substrates, and PCB manufacturing, including etch and deposition, component inspection, and imaging and analytics. The e-Beam division plays a critical role in KLA’s inspection ecosystem, with tools that deliver high-resolution, timely insights into defects and critical locations on the wafer. Used alongside KLA’s patterned and bare wafer inspectors, e-Beam systems help our customers quickly identify and understand yield-impacting issues-enabling faster, more effective actions to correct the manufacturing process. What You'll Do\nIn this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.\nCandidate should have Doctorate/Master's degree in either of Physics, Engineering Physics, Engineering Design, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Materials and Metallurgical Engineering.\nKnowledge in instrumentation, signal processing and optical/electro-optical systems such as electron microscopes is preferred.\nExperience with Vacuum Systems, Electron Optics, and High Voltage for scanning electron microscopes or equivalent a plus.\nHands-on experiences in machine control and/or scientific data analysis is highly desired.\nCandidate must have demonstrated an ability in setting-up experiments, modelling and data analysis, solving complex technical problems.\nCandidate must have demonstrated proficiency in scripting language (MATLAB, Python, others) for scientific data collection & analysis.\nFinally, the candidate must have excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to create effective technical presentations.\nMinimum Qualifications\nThe product subsystems include light optics, electron optics, imaging, detectors, HV electronics, vacuum systems, wafer transfer systems, detection and classification algorithms, machine control, and UI software.\nThe candidate is expected to gain a detailed functional understanding of the entire product, act independently, devise and drive innovative analyses and solutions for complex problems.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues at customer sites by performing root cause analysis, utilizing diagnostic tools, and collaborating with cross-functional experts to deliver timely solutions.\nWork closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to enhance product performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.\nContribute to the development of next-generation products by defining software, algorithm, and hardware requirements, followed by design validation, characterization, system integration, and product lifecycle support.\nCandidate is expected to be provide on-site customer support in Taiwan. The overall travel load is between 90-100%. Base location would be Hsinchu, Taiwan\nWork within the engineering team on designing new or improving designs of existing electron-beam imaging products for the semiconductor equipment market.\nFor necessary training, candidate would be trained at our Singapore and US offices\nMinimum Qualifications\nMaster's Level Degree or PhD\nAbout KLA\nWe provide advanced inspection tools, metrology systems, process solutions, and computational analytics that make electronics possible, tackling complex challenges. From electron and photon optics to machine learning and data analytics, we seek perfection at the most fundamental level of matter in the universe. If you want to make electronics that push industries forward and make the world a better place, join us.\nUse of AI Statement\nAt KLA, our interviews seek to understand your individual skills, problem-solving approach and authentic thinking.
