These tools combine broadband plasma technology with unmatched sensitivity and speed to support high-volume manufacturing.What You'll Do\nIn this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.\nIn this role, the candidate will contribute to the development and support of Broadband Plasma Inspection Tools. This internship provides an opportunities for hands-on experience in product development of BBP wafer inspection tool performance characterization and experience of working with cross-functional teams.\nJob Description:\nAssist engineers with system health checks, calibration, troubleshooting, and data collection.\nCharacterize system performance by analyzing images and other data collected through machine control software.\nParticipate in system characterization and validation activities to verify performance against engineering requirements.\nDesign and run experiments, document results, present to engineering teams.\nWork with cross-functional teams such as systems, mechanical, electrical, software, applications and algorithm teams.\nDevelop scripts and utilities to automate data analysis, testing, or engineering processes.\nParticipate in engineering reviews, team meetings, and technical discussions.\nRequired Qualifications:\nCurrently pursuing a MS or PhD degree in an Engineering field\nBackground in engineering or physics (With experience in Optics is best)\nExperience in basic image processing operations such as filtering, target finding, alignment, coordinate systems etc.\nAbility to parse data from a variety of data sources such as text files, html, csv and other file formats\nExperience in Python, MATLAB, or other scripting languages.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nPreferred Qualifications:\nGood understanding of Optics and Image Processing\nExperience with imaging systems / Semiconductor Wafer inspection tools\nExperience in developing / implementing deep learning applications\nExperience in system engineering, prototyping, image analysis, digital signal processing, control systems and statistical analysis.\nMinimum Qualifications\nRequires less than 1 year of related experienceAbout KLA\nWe provide advanced inspection tools, metrology systems, process solutions, and computational analytics that make electronics possible, tackling complex challenges.
