Our services organization maximizes the value of our customers' KLA assets - with highly trained service and product support engineers providing installation services and 24/7 technical support and parts delivery through our extensive supply chain network.What You'll Do\nIn this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.\nJob Responsibilities:\nServe as the central technical resource / interface with design engineering, manufacturing, technical support, quality, marketing and field as the product(s) move through the Product Life Cycle\nAct as the expert on several subsystems within reticle profile, and drive PoA (corrective actions) and/or design-influencing changes (preventive action). When needed, provide technical recommendation to improve serviceability from diagnostics to process improvement.\nProactively optimize serviceability, reduce cost-of-service through all stages of the PLC, and improve short- and long-term product service performance.\nDrive continuous improvement of system hardware, diagnostics and software, tooling, technical documentation, knowledge management, and training\nInfluence early PLC designs to include features that will optimize KLA’s service business: calibrations and diagnostics, Cost of Service (CoS), reliability, design tolerances, Intellectual Property (IP) protection.\nParticipate in beta and sustaining escalation efforts, analyze data from various sources, to provide a detailed action plan suitable for execution by Customer Service Engineer (CSE) and Technical Support Engineer (TSE)\nLeverage learning and knowledge across the Technical Support organization through training classes, scripts, coaching, documents and updating other knowledge capture tools\nContribute and write technical reports to communicate issues, analysis, and best-known methods\nWork with Learning and Knowledge Services (LKS) to determine the training requirements for new products and/or upgrades. Train the trainer and teach or co-teach initial courses. Audit service training courses to ensure their quality.\nHelp to define a plan, implement and optimize the spare parts that will be stocked to support field shipments. This includes taking into account reliability, diagnostics, inventory holding cost, training level and other factors\nPerform hands-on work for integration of Alpha/Beta systems, including performing serviceability validation.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nHands on experience with EUV tools or semiconductor processing equipment. Reticle equipment experience highly preferred.\nConsistent track record to work on sophisticated problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.\nResults oriented and driven to excel.\nStrong analytic and data analysis skills.
