- The Technical Engagement Manager (TEM) is an important field-based contributor who possesses a unique combination of talents, skills and relationships.
- The TEM is engaged in technical activities in support of securing business opportunities at key PCB and ICOS customers.
- In-depth product knowledge is interchangeable with Division Marketing and is able to represent Division Marketing with customers.
- Technical credibility and working-level knowledge allows the TEM to be viewed as a trusted advisor and advocate for the customer.
- Lead customer evaluations, proof-of-concept activities, benchmark studies, and JEP/SOW programs.
- Work closely with Application Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and R&D teams to translate customer requirements into business opportunities.
- Provide technical leadership for strategic customer projects and escalation management.
- Support business growth through technology roadmaps, competitive analysis, and market intelligence.
- Drive adoption of new products and solutions in PCB, IC Substrate, Advanced Packaging, and Semiconductor Inspection/Metrology applications.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS or above degrees in semiconductor related field.
- 10+ years of experience in semiconductor, advanced packaging, PCB, or related electronics manufacturing industries. Strong technical knowledge of inspection, metrology, process control, or semiconductor manufacturing.
- Minimum of process engineering experience in back-end is required. (PCB and ICOS experiences are highly plus)
- Additional background in Product Marketing is desirable.
- People managing experience is plus.
