We also develop technologies for specialty processes, IC substrates, and PCB manufacturing, including etch and deposition, component inspection, and imaging and analytics.What You'll Do\nIn this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.\nJob Description\n- Develop and maintain equipment control and integration software for semiconductor\ninspection systems\n- Design and implement software solutions using C#, C++, and Python\n- Perform on-site system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution at\ncustomer fabs\n- Collaborate with global FIG, ICOS, and customer engineering teams to ensure\nsuccessful project delivery\n- Improve software quality, stability, and deployment processes\n- Support integration with factory automation systems, MES, and equipment interfaces\nPreferred Qualifications\n- Experience in equipment software, factory automation (FA), or semiconductor\nindustry\n- Familiarity with SECS/GEM, EFEM, or equipment integration architecture\n- Experience in customer-facing roles or global projects\n- Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes\n- Experience working with MES or factory automation systems\n- Additional language skills (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus\n- Hands-on experience in system integration and customer-facing environments is strongly preferred\nMinimum Qualifications\n- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with strong\nproficiency in C#, C++, and Python\n- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) in a global environment\n- Ability to independently deliver end-to-end software solutions\n- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capability in real production\nenvironments\n- Willingness to work in customer-facing and on-site environments\n- Flexibility for frequent domestic and international travel\nAbout KLA\nWe provide advanced inspection tools, metrology systems, process solutions, and computational analytics that make electronics possible, tackling complex challenges.
