Our inspection, metrology, and analytics systems detect and monitor defects across logic and memory chips, specialty semiconductors, wafers, reticles, advanced packaging, process equipment and materials. The LS-SWIFT division delivers high-throughput patterned wafer inspection systems that support advanced semiconductor manufacturing. LS systems enable precise, cost-effective inspection for cutting-edge process nodes, while SWIFT systems offer comprehensive macro inspection of all wafer surfaces-capabilities that are especially critical for advanced packaging, as well as logic, memory, and automotive applications.What You'll Do\nIn this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport novel laser optical design and setting up state-of-the-art test stations in cleanroom\nDevelop SW for automatic testing and processing\nData collection and analysis\nSupport engineering and production, and write report\nRequirements:\nPursuing a bachelor's degree from a recognized university\nAvailable from Jan-May/June 2027 (preferably semester Intern, commitment of 5 to 6 months)\nTrack record of outstanding academic performance\nWillingness to learn attitude and interest in technology\nStrong knowledge or skills in optics and photonics, physics and programming languages (LabVIEW, MatLab, Python, machine learning, etc.), or good at data interpretation and matrix mathematics would be an advantage\nStrong hands-on experience, and analytical and problem-solving skills\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nFlexibility and willingness to work on different tasks if required\nMinimum Qualifications\nRequires less than 1 year of related experience\nAbout KLA\nWe provide advanced inspection tools, metrology systems, process solutions, and computational analytics that make electronics possible, tackling complex challenges.
