JOB PURPOSE.\n\nThe Software Developer at Klan Logistics Limited will play a crucial role in the design,development, and maintenance of software applications for the logistics and transportation industry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in modern front-end frameworks such as Vue and React, with expertise in back-end development using the Laravel framework. They will also work extensively with APIs, follow Secure Design Principles, and be well-versed in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role involves working in a collaborative environment to build innovative solutions that meet business needs and enhance operational efficiency.\n\n3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nI. Front-End Development:\n\nDevelop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using Vue and React frameworks.\nImplement designs and provide technical feedback.\nOptimize application for maximum speed and scalability.\nEnsure cross-platform compatibility and responsive design.\n\nII. Back-End Development:\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs using the Laravel framework.\nIntegrate with third-party services and APIs to enhance application functionality.\nImplement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms in line with industry standards.\n\n.\n\nIII. API Development and Integration:\n\nDesign and create RESTful APIs that are efficient and scalable.\nCollaborate with other teams to integrate APIs across multiple platforms and services.\nEnsure the reliability and security of API endpoints.\n\nIV. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC):\n\nParticipate in all phases of the SDLC including requirements gathering, design, coding,\ntesting, deployment, and maintenance.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.\nWork within Agile/Scrum methodologies, attending standups, sprints, and retrospectives.\n\nV. Secure Design and Best Practices:\n\nFollow Secure Design Principles and ensure applications are built with security in mind, minimizing vulnerabilities.\nImplement secure coding practices to protect sensitive data and prevent common security threats such as SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, etc.\nStay up to date with industry security trends and apply new security practices as necessary.\n\nVI. Collaboration and Teamwork:\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers.\nParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.\nDocument technical processes, architectures, and solutions for future reference.\n\nVII. Maintenance and Optimization:\n\nPerform regular application maintenance to ensure reliability and performance.\nTroubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software applications.\nAnalyse performance metrics and optimize applications for better speed and efficiency.\n\n4.
