Come find out what you’re capable of.\nAbout the role Large French merchants choose how they accept payments based on what grows their sales, so your conversations will be about commercial results, not product features. You’ll join one of Klarna’s Partner Success Teams in Paris and work with some of our largest and most strategic merchants in France, helping them grow with Klarna over the long term.\nOur analytics, delivery, and marketing teams supply the insight, implementation, and campaigns behind each partnership. This position sits at the front of that work: you decide where the opportunity is, agree the plan with the merchant, and bring the right people in to deliver it.\nWhat you’ll do\nYou’ll identify and develop new commercial opportunities with large merchants in the French market.\n\nYou’ll build business plans jointly with merchants and run them through to results.\n\nYou’ll work with analytics, delivery, and marketing teams to generate leads and deliver solutions tailored to each merchant.\n\nYou’ll negotiate and close high-value deals.\n\nYou’ll build relationships with senior merchant stakeholders and position Klarna as their long-term growth partner.\n\nYou’ll adapt Klarna’s business model to the needs of the French market.\n\nWho you are\nYou’re based in Paris and know how French merchants sell, accept payments, and choose their partners.\n\nYou’re fluent in French and English, written and spoken, at full professional proficiency.\n\nYou’ve spent 5+ years in Business Development, Account Management, or Sales.\n\nYou’ve worked with merchants in retail, payments, e-commerce or management consulting.\n\nYou’ve built partnerships from scratch and grown them into larger accounts.\n\nYou explain commercial proposals clearly and keep several accounts and deadlines organized at once.\n\nBonus points for\nExperience managing relationships with C-level or senior executive stakeholders.\n\nA track record of closing complex or strategic commercial deals.\n\nExperience conducting market research to inform go-to-market strategies.\n\nExposure to international or cross-cultural business environments.\n\nThings you should know before applying\nWorking together: we value co-located teams; most teams currently meet in the office 2-3 days per week, and this varies by team and can change over time.\n\nNon-obvious backgrounds are welcome.
