Visit klaviyo.com/careers to see how we empower creators to own their own destiny.\nSenior Payroll Specialist - EMEA & APAC\nLocation: Dublin, Ireland | Hybrid (3 days per week in office)\nAbout the Role\nWe’re looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join our Global Payroll team and help deliver accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll across our growing international footprint.This role will have primary responsibility for UK & Ireland payroll, while supporting additional EMEA and APAC countries through our global partners. Beyond day-to-day payroll delivery, we're looking for someone who brings strong payroll expertise, takes ownership, proactively identifies risks, and enjoys finding better ways of working.\nYou'll work closely with our International Payroll Lead and cross-functional partners to strengthen payroll controls, standardize processes, and support automation initiatives as we continue to scale our global operations.\nWhat You’ll Do\nPayroll Operations & Compliance\nOwn end-to-end payroll processing for the UK and Ireland, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.\nSupport payroll review and coordination across additional countries, including France, Germany, Switzerland, Singapore, and Australia, as assigned.\nReview payroll inputs, calculations, variances, and final outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.\nPartner with CloudPay and local payroll providers to resolve discrepancies and manage payroll-related issues.\nSupport statutory reporting, tax compliance, and month-end and year-end payroll requirements.\nControls & Operational Excellence\nPerform payroll reconciliations, validation checks, and documented controls.\nMaintain accurate payroll records and audit-ready documentation.\nDevelop and maintain payroll SOPs, calendars, checklists, and country-specific process documentation.\nIdentify payroll risks, raise concerns proactively, and recommend solutions.\nSupport cross-training and backup coverage to ensure business continuity.\nProcess Improvement & Automation\nIdentify opportunities to simplify manual processes and improve payroll accuracy and efficiency.\nSupport automation initiatives using Workday, CloudPay, AI, and other available tools.\nHelp standardize payroll processes and controls across countries.\nParticipate in system enhancements, integrations, testing, and payroll-related projects.\nCross-Functional Partnership\nWork closely with People Operations, Benefits, People Tech, Finance, and other internal partners.\nProvide clear and timely communication on payroll matters, deadlines, risks, and resolutions.\nPartner with the International Payroll Lead to support operational priorities and continuous improvement.\nContribute to a collaborative team environment through knowledge sharing and process improvements.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n5+ years of progressive payroll experience, ideally within a multinational organization.\nStrong hands-on UK and Ireland payroll experience is essential.\nExperience managing payroll across multiple countries and working with third-party payroll providers.\nStrong understanding of payroll compliance, statutory reporting, reconciliations, and controls.\nExperience with Workday and CloudPay or comparable HRIS and global payroll platforms.\nAbility to independently manage payroll deadlines, investigate discrepancies, and resolve complex payroll issues.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities.\nProactive mindset with a focus on process improvements and operational efficiency.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and regions.\nComfortable working in a changing environment and taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.\nNice to Have\nPayroll experience in France, Germany, Switzerland, Singapore, or Australia.\nExperience supporting payroll implementations, integrations, or transformation projects.\nExperience developing payroll SOPs, controls, and standardized processes.\nFamiliarity with automation, AI tools, or data analytics within payroll operations.\nExperience supporting internal or external payroll audits.\nWhy Join\nBe part of a growing Global Payroll team supporting an expanding international business.\nTake ownership of key international payroll operations while working alongside experienced payroll professionals.\nHelp shape how we improve and scale our global payroll processes.\nWork with modern payroll technology and contribute to automation and innovation.\nBuild your expertise across multiple countries and develop your career within a collaborative global team.\nOur salary range reflects the cost of labour in the country where the job post is advertised.
