Software Engineer II

Introduction

KLDiscovery, a leading global provider of electronic discovery, information governance and data recovery services, is currently seeking a Software Developer II.

You will be responsible for building software that is used in our company to manage and automate processes. You will also use your knowledge and expertise effectively to mentor, coach and train entry level developers. Tasks: Frontend and Backend development, adding new functionalities and fixing existing elements.

Remote, work from home opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Frontend and Backend development, adding new functionalities and fixing existing elements
• Building automated tests (unit, functional and regression)
• Performing code reviews and creating/enforcing coding standards

Qualifications

• Fluent English (C1)
• At least 3 years of commercial, hands-on software development experience in C#/.NET and C++
• Experience with ASP.NET Core Blazor Experience with Entity Framework Core
• Experience with desktop applications (Winforms/DevExpress preferred)
• Experience with background jobs and workers (e.g. Hangfire)
• Experience with Angular is a plus
• Experience with C++ preferred
• Good understanding of at least one of architectural/design patterns: MVC/MVP/MVVM/Clean/Screaming/Hexagonal architectures
• Writing functional tests and structure tests.
• Ability to design functionalities based on requirements
