This includes requesting and checking supplier statements, credit reports, contracts, non-disclosure agreements, supplier extranet setup, freight forwarder setup, and working with the legal team on contract redlines.\nUpdate and maintain supplier documentation in Agile, Vendorful, and any other relevant systems.\nDevelop strong relationships with assigned suppliers.\nSupport assigned category managers with tactical and administrative tasks.\nSupport assigned category managers with New Product Development (NPD) project tasks.\nRequest for Quote (RFQ) creation, submission, monitoring, and analysis; sending and requesting product samples to and from potential suppliers; initial purchase order (PO) requests.\nAnalyze system data and check for accuracy, completion, and detail.\nCreate cost comparisons and pricing analyses.\nPerform other duties as required within the nature and level of work.\nJob Qualification Requirements\nBachelors degree in supply chain or related field and one year of relevant experience. \nAPICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society), CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) certification, or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) certification a plus. \nUnderstanding of supply chain processes and best practices. \nProject management and problem solving skills. \nDemonstrated supplier management skills. \nMust be able to work and effectively communicate with all levels of the company and suppliers. \nAbility to lead and effectively manage cross functional teams. \nDrive for continuous improvement. \nMust be able to manage multiple cross functional projects at once. \nPhysical Demand Requirements\nOccasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.
