You will be responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process, including setup, startup, shutdown, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance. \nCome join our growing team at Klein Tools!\nThis role will be for 2nd shift, 1pm - 9:30pm. \nThis role has an hourly range of $31/hr - $36/hr . Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, and location.\nJob Responsibilities:\nPerform all aspects of the injection molding process to include, set-up, start up and shut down, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance and work flow. \nDirect and monitor the execution of the production schedule as well as performing mold and/or material changes as dictated by the schedule.\n Create cycle time reductions where possible.\nPerform process troubleshooting, tooling setting, material setting, part inspections and various other functions to insure part conformity and quality. \nWork with Engineering on current and new molds for alternative material sampling and new product sampling.\nVerify documents, including start up and in process product inspection sheets, process monitoring log, changeover check list.\nPrepare and set up support equipment (i.e. circulators, grinders, thermolator, hot runner controller, material dryer and material loader, etc.) as needed in the production area prior to start up.\nPerform other duties as required within the nature and level of work.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent and five (5) years of relevant work experience, required. \nExperience setting up and operating injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, including robots, is required.\nExperience diagnosing process issues, making minor repairs, controlling quality, and maintaining high levels of uptime on machines.\nMust be able to read, write, speak and understand basic English.\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).\nAbility to read measuring devices, i.e. micrometer, vernier calipers, Acu-Gauge, etc. \nAbility to read and interpret blue prints.\nMaster Molder certification preferred\nDISCLAIMER: This position may include exposure to radio frequencies that may be dangerous to individuals with a pacemaker, consult with your doctor.
