You will help evolve our Trust & Safety capabilities further towards proactive, data-driven prevention, using signals, automation, machine learning, AI and effective human-in-the-loop processes.\nResponsibilities\nWhat You’ll Do:Own product strategy and roadmap for key Trust & Safety capabilities related to content moderation domain, focusing on measurable improvements to customer safety and marketplace trust.\nIdentify and prioritise opportunities to prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations using behavioural signals, rules, machine learning, and other detection capabilities.\nDesign effective interventions across the customer journey, including verification, restrictions, blocking, escalation and human review.\nContinuously improve Trust & Safety metrics, balancing prevention effectiveness with false positives, customer experience, operational cost, and business impact.\nPartner with Engineering and Data to develop scalable risk detection and decisioning capabilities and make pragmatic build-versus-buy and MVP-versus-target-state decisions.\nWork closely with Customer Service and Operations to improve investigation, moderation, and case-management tooling and reduce unnecessary manual work.\nTranslate regulatory, policy, and operational requirements into scalable product capabilities in partnership with Legal and Policy stakeholders.\nLead discovery across customer journeys and product areas, identify emerging risks, validate potential solutions, and turn insights into clear product requirements and priorities.\nMeasure the impact of Trust & Safety interventions, learn from incidents and experiments, and continuously adapt the product strategy as fraud and abuse patterns evolve.\nAct as a senior product voice for Trust & Safety, helping teams across Kleinanzeigen incorporate trust, safety, and abuse prevention into their own product decisions.\nYou will report to the Head of Product - Trust Platform Area\nRequirements\nWho You Are:5+ years experience as a Product Manager for digital products, at senior level and in complex marketplace, platform, Trust & Safety, fraud prevention, identity, moderation, cybersecurity or a related field is preferred.\nStrong product discovery and strategy skills, able to turn ambiguous customer and business problems into clear priorities, hypotheses, and measurable outcomes.\nHighly data-driven, with experience defining product metrics, analysing behavioural signals, and using data to make prioritisation and investment decisions.\nExperience working closely with Engineering and Data Science on technical products involving rules engines, risk models, machine learning, automation, or similar decisioning systems.\nProven ability to balance competing outcomes such as customer safety, false positives, user friction, operational effort, and business impact.\nStrong people skills, able to align Product, Engineering, Customer Service, Legal, Privacy, and leadership around difficult trade-offs and shared priorities.\nExperience influencing product areas and customer journeys beyond your immediate team and driving initiatives across organisational boundaries.\nStrong communication skills, able to explain complex trust and risk topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.\nFluent in English; German is a strong plus.\nBenefits\n Your benefits at Kleinanzeigen At Kleinanzeigen, we care about our people - their wellbeing, growth, and life beyond work.
