This position is available in our Boston, MA office on a flex basis.\nThe ideal candidate brings a robust background in urban infrastructure, specifically in the delivery of roadways, curb, and sidewalk restoration projects. They must demonstrate a high aptitude for identifying and resolving surface restoration conflicts, working safely, and working in a Team centered environment. Additionally, proficiency in documentation of contractor operations is required to ensure alignment with engineering plans and specifications.\nResponsibilities:\nWorking knowledge of the principles and practices of Civil Engineering and Construction Methods, Materials and Equipment including state DOT Standards and Specifications.\nResponsible for interpreting plans and specifications as required to prepare, present, evaluate, monitor, and maintain project records and documents.\nFollow and adhere to all federal and state regulations, client requirements and contracts, and company policies and procedures including but not limited to, safety, ADA requirements, or environmental regulations.\nQualifications:\nBA/BS degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field.\n5-6 years of related experience in construction inspection or oversight of urban surface restoration activities, Massachusetts DOT construction inspections or management.\nMust have a thorough knowledge and understanding of drawings, plans, specifications, and general contract documents.\nValid state driver’s license.\nAbility to work under unfavorable weather conditions year-round and traverse rough, steep terrain while performing duties.\nFollowing an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.\nMove Forward with Kleinfelder:\nKleinfelder and its’ subsidiaries and affiliates, has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
