From Accounting & Finance, Human Resources, Marketing & Communications, and Information Technology to Legal and Health & Safety, our corporate employees are part of the Kleinfelder ecosystem - supporting the projects that improve the communities we work and live in.\nKleinfelder is seeking a Engineering Construction Project Controls Professional for our South area.\nThe Project Coordinator will assist with accounting functions, reporting, invoicing support, travel coordination, and additional administrative support for a variety of projects in our South Division. This individual will perform routine tasks in support of project costs, documents and reporting activities and will assist project managers and program managers with the development and organization of project data. The position will work under the general supervision of the Project Controls Specialist and within specific guidelines and protocols on semi-routine assignments.\nThis position can be based in:\nRaleigh, NC\nCharlotte, NC\nAtlanta, GA\nTampa, FL\nResponsibilities include:\nAssists with accurate record keeping and expense documentation of project activities for invoicing based on PM or Project Controls direction. Ensure invoices are prepared promptly with a detailed breakdown of services.\nSupports project team in aspects of document management.\nAssists in the logical creation of additional folder structure, usage, and document filing for all areas of the project.\nAssist Project Controls Associate as requested.\nWork directly with Project and/or Program Managers to support in the execution of all project controls/coordination processes and systems on large-scale delivery projects.\nSupport Project Managers in contract management, invoicing, document control and collections\nEducation:\nAssociates degree in finance, business, project management or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.\nSkills and Experience:\n3 - 6 years related experience working directly in project planning, cost control, using MS Excel.\n1+ year of finance, accounting, or construction management,\nDemonstrate team collaboration, communication, and organization skills.\nAdvanced level of analytical, evaluative, and constructive thinking\nExperience with Deltek Vision is not required, but preferred.\n\nFollowing an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.\nMove Forward with Kleinfelder: Kleinfelder and its’ subsidiaries and affiliates, has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
