The Rock Island office is a fast-paced full-service engineering office that primarily focuses on the municipal, state, and federal markets. We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills to assist our current staff in serving our clients. Our preferred location would be in our Rock Island, Illinois office but we will consider strong candidates in our Springfield, Illinois or Coralville, Iowa locations.\nV&K BENEFITS\nBenefits available 30 days following date of employment, includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, Short and Long Term Disability, plus additional supplemental insurances\nClothing allowance\n401k with company match\nPaid Time Off and 9 paid holidays\nPaid training and development on and off-site\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nUse measurements of surveying equipment to determine property lines and boundaries. \nResearch additional information about a property though titles, survey records and land records. \nRecord accurate property lines and plots with the local land use authorities. \nPerform office work, such as deed research, and create base mapping utilizing AutoCAD software. \nPerform routine calculations such as transverse and lot closures. \nProvide professional representation of the Firm to clients, contractors, and the public. \nPerform boundary calculations, analysis, and field support calculations. \nConduct research and analysis, title reports, ROW/E, Land Title Surveys, topography, and mapping. \nPrepares easements, plats and surveys. \nAssures project legal documents are completed and signed. \nREQUIREMENTS\n5 years or more experience in surveying \nIllinois Survey license or ability to obtain within 12 months. \nSolid written and verbal communication skills \nExperience with AutoCAD \nFollowing an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.\nProgress with an Employer that Values You\nKleinfelder, and its’ subsidiaries and affiliates, is an inclusive organization free from discrimination.
