From earthquake and seismic engineering to the latest trenchless technology methods, Kleinfelder's Geotechnical Services support the planning, engineering, and construction of complex projects, and our specialists are leading experts in their fields.\nStep Into Your New Role\nKleinfelder is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer / Project Manager in the Mid-Atlantic Region.\nThis position will be based in Exton, PA.\nThis is a great opportunity for someone looking for a role where they can execute project work, partner with senior geotechnical engineers, provide mentorship to junior staff, and engage with clients. On the job you would be expected to:\nCoordinate with multidiscipline team to prepare proposals and execute projects;\nSafely coordinate and execute field exploration programs, construction observation, and associated documentation;\nComplete engineering analysis including: soil and rock classification; shallow and deep foundation capacity, immediate and consolidation settlement; slope stability analysis, geohazard evaluation, ground improvement, and earth retention systems;\nPartner with internal and external multidisciplinary teams during project development;\nPrepare Geotechnical Engineering reports;\nPrepare construction specifications and drawings;\nBe actively involved during the construction phase of projects;\nPositively interact with client representatives; and\nDevelopment of scope of work, project budgets, work breakdown structures, and schedules. \nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in civil/geotechnical engineering.\n10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.\nPositive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks.\nAbility to work independently and with a team\nStrong written and oral communication skills.\nWorking knowledge of: MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Power Point.\nExperience with geotechnical software packages including L-Pile, Uni-pile, SHAFT, gINT, GRL WEAP, GEO STUDIO, and FAD preferred.\nClean driving record and the ability to pass a drug test required.\nPreferred Skills/Experience:\nMaster's degree\nPE\nCandidate within commuting distance of Exton, PA\nFollowing an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.\nMove Forward with Kleinfelder: Kleinfelder and its’ subsidiaries and affiliates, has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
