Our Technical Operators perform various functions in ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of the multiple plants maintained daily. This is a flex position offering 6-10 hours weekly. The job description below are the kind of tasks, duties, and responsibilities needed to be performed by Technical Operators of water supply & wastewater plants:\nOperate and maintain pumps, motors, blowers.\nComplete and follow-up on work orders and process control monitoring.\nMonitor and record flow meters and system run hours.\nService and maintain equipment and overall plant.\nClean sand filters and media filters.\nMonitor, operate, and troubleshoot electrical controls (with proper training and equipment).\nCollect samples for analysis and maintain chain of custodies.\nLog plant operation details, on computer and in writing; prepare reports.\nMonitor treatment processes and apply standard operational adjustments based on those results\nThe Technical Operator position holds multiple levels, based on experience and state certifications.\nRequirements - Abilities, Knowledge, and Skills - for Technical Operator Role\n To be a Technical Operator, you will need to meet the following requirements, which are set by the Operations Director:\nGood and effective communication skills\nGood analytical and organizational abilities are of great importance\nCommitted to following established policies and procedures.\n75% field work and 25% office time\nMust live in Elm Creek, Nebraska or within 50 miles\nMust have Valid Drivers License \nMust Possess Class I or higher-Water License\n Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.\nMove Forward with Kleinfelder:\nKleinfelder and its’ subsidiaries and affiliates, has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
