To fulfil this role, the Test Automation Engineer applies appropriate automation technologies and frameworks to meet the short- and long-term goals of the testing team.\nYou will work closely with the Test Automation Lead/Head of Test Automation/Head of QA to define THE strategy and process, bringing automation in line with existing functional aspect of the test effort.\nYou will be responsible for creation, execution and maintenance of automated scripts.\nIn addition, the position is responsible for creating metrics and increasing test coverage using the automated systems.\nPrimary responsibilities:\nParticipate in a test automation tool selection process for an automated component testing harness.\nParticipate in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture, and detailed design documents.\nDevelop and execute automated tests using the selected tool, which will likely require programming in Selenium, Playwright preferably with C# language.\nPerform static analysis of source code using complexity metrics.\nEffectively communicate testing activities and findings in oral and written formats.\nIntegrate the test suites into the test management tool.\nThe ability to participate effectively in estimation, planning, cost-of-quality, and quality risk analysis is desired.\nImplement and develop automated test practices for both web and mobile.\nDesign and create test scripts to address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability in preparation for implementation.\nTake the lead in the analysis, design, development, and ongoing maintenance of complex automated tests and automation architecture for multiple products aligning with KCS' current and future marketplace needs. This involves communicating both internally and externally with cross functional areas impacted by automation.\nDevelop an end-to-end automation strategy \nMinimum qualification and experience: \nBachelors or master’s degrees in engineering or science related fields.
