As a QA Engineer at KloudMate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative observability platform. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing tests to identify defects and ensure our software meets the highest standards of quality and performance. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and technical specifications.\n\nPerform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.\n\nIdentify, document, and track software defects using our bug tracking system, ensuring clear and concise reporting.\n\nCollaborate closely with development and product teams to understand product features and provide timely feedback on potential issues.\n\nParticipate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.\n\nContribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies.\n\nPotentially contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts (depending on experience and skills).\n\nAnalyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.\n\nStay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and techniques.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n\nMinimum of 1 year of professional experience in software quality assurance.\n\nSolid understanding of software testing methodologies, concepts, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).\n\nExperience in creating and executing test plans and test cases for web-based applications.\n\nFamiliarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience testing observability platforms or monitoring tools.\n\nExposure to cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).\n\nExperience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).\n\nExperience with Monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, Zabbix, Nagios)\n\nExperience with any cloud provider’s monitoring service (AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Monitoring)\n\nExperience with metrics, logs, or traces in QA role\n\nFamiliarity with OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, Zipkin\n\nFamiliarity with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).\n\nBasic scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript).\n\nExperience working in an Agile development environment.\n\nWhat We OfferCompensation: Competitive salary in the range of 2 to 4 LPA CTC annually. \nLocation: Remote-first with the flexibility to work from anywhere.
