This position travels to our warehouses across the Mid-West, South Central, and New England states. Our team of installers assist with setting up new warehouses, changing existing racking, moving product and racking installation and teardowns. Responsible for unloading and/or loading trucks, as well as picking/pulling and/or putting away tires/products. Being able to fill in when needed to drive a truck for delivery routes. \n\nJob Duties and Responsibilities:\nAssemble and install racking according to the warehouse layout.\nDisassemble old racking; sort, bind and store by dimensions.\nMove and make changes to existing racking.\nMeasure, outline and paint truck and farm area according to layout.\nMove product to new racking, according to new layout charting. \nInstall signs and labels in bins, dock doors, etc.\nResponsible for unloading semi-trailers and/or assisting the loader for semi-trailers and route trucks.\nUse equipment and tools provided daily accurately and safely to verify, pull/pick, and put-away tires/products. \nTires/products should be in designated locations with tags out and restocked as needed.\nResponsible for always working safely and following safety rules.\nAssist the Facilities Dept with light maintenance tasks\nWork in a warehouse when not traveling. \nAble to load route trucks\nResponsible for unloading truck efficiently, accurately and in organized manner.\nWork with and train temps or other employees assisting. (Level II)\nAbility to lead/train incoming team members (Level II)\nCross train with the IT Department running cables, hanging camera’s, door contacts, etc. (Level III)\nAbility to fill in for supervisor on a temporary basis (Level III)\nActively participate in Leadership Development (Level III)\nSupport company goals and uphold K&M Values.\nPerform other duties as appropriate and assigned.\n\nJob Requirements:\nMust possess a friendly and helpful attitude.\nAbility to work in a multi-tasking, professional environment.\nMust pay close attention to details.\nAbility to lift up to 75 lbs. continuously.\nMust have a valid driver’s license.\nMust be 21 or older.\nAbility to learn tire knowledge\nMust be able to stand for long periods of time.\nMust be willing to travel.
