responsibilities of a ASSET OPERATIONS INTERN include:\nTrack and maintain accurate records of assets including computing equipment and related peripherals.\nConduct physical audits and update asset inventory data accordingly.\nSupport asset allocation, returns, and decommissioning procedures.\nAssist in ensuring data accuracy and completeness in Asset Management databases.\nPrepare reports related to asset usage, trends, and compliance.\nLiaise with internal teams including Asset Operations, Procurement, and Finance.\nTo apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:\nCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Industrial Engineering or a related field.\nBasic understanding of IT hardware components.\nFamiliarity with Inventory tools is a plus.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nGood communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.\nEagerness to learn and contribute to real-world Asset operations.\nIt will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:\nWorking knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets/ MS Office Applications (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas, and data cleaning) to reconcile physical counts against logs.\nBaseline understanding of how database systems, ticketing platforms or Asset Management Software log hardware/software assets.\nFamiliarity with tagging methods suited for different physical materials.\nUnderstanding basic warehouse, staging, or storage site organization (e.g., shelf tagging, status binning like Available vs. Faulty vs. Pending Disposal).\nPrecision in tracking serial numbers, asset tags, and status updates where a single typo breaks tracking continuity.\nClear writing and speaking skills to coordinate with team members, remote workers, or third-party logistics/vendors.\nResourcefulness when physical inventory doesn't
